Jennifer Clayton – Registered Podiatrist and Director, Certified Laser Specialist in Skin and Aesthetics
Jennifer has over 20 years podiatry experience having graduated in Podiatric Medicine in 1992 after undertaking 3 years full time training. She is also trained and certified in the use of local anaesthesia.
I have been privileged to have worked with some fantastic professionals, colleagues and patients and in wonderful places like Canada. My NHS duties involved helping to run a diabetic screening and treatment centre. I also had a paediatric caseload along with routine care and nail surgery. I have worked for a Foot Surgeon at Cobham Day Hospital with duties including lower limb anaesthesia and cannulation prior to surgery.
I have been working with lasers for several years and I’m excited about the vast array of applications they have. I have undertaken extensive training with lasers and IPL platforms over the years for both medical and aesthetic use on the face and body and attained the advanced Level 4 Certification in Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments. I am fully insured through Hamilton Fraser.

Anna qualified from the British School of Osteopathy with a Master’s degree in Osteopathy. Since then she has worked in several different clinics around the country as well as in Monaco and France.
She enjoys treating anyone from the elderly to children, expectant mother’s to sportspeople; tailoring the treatment to suit the patient and using a holistic approach to try to find a long term solution to the symptoms.
Using soft tissue and stretching techniques, manipulation and joint articulation, Anna will also give advice on changes you can make yourself such as stretches and setting up your workstation.
Osteopathy can be extremely helpful in reducing pain from ailments including: back and neck pain, nerve impingement, sciatica, joint pain and tennis elbow by promoting self healing from your body.
I first met Jennifer as a patient when she undertook a biomechanical assessment and made me some new orthotics which worked brilliantly. I understand what’s it’s like to be the one on the podiatrists’ couch and hopefully bring that understanding to the way we treat patients at our clinic from the moment they first make an enquiry to their most recent appointment.
Prior to joining the clinic in May 2015 I worked in Human Resources in several multinational organisations.
I met Jennifer in 2010 as a patient for general foot care and a summer tidying. I also needed a small procedure which has been a great success!
Understanding what it’s like being a patient helps me to appreciate patients general questions and concerns.
Before joining the team, I worked as an administrator in a busy Sure Start Children’s Centre.
